Newton Dental Associates is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. David Shane to our team. Dr. Shane will specialize in Adult and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Shane was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved to Newton, MA with his family in 1994. He attended Boston College in 2006 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2010. From there, he went on to study at The Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated with his D.M.D. in 2011.
Dr. Shane has been practicing for 10 years, first in Southern New Hampshire, where he was awarded Top Dentist for 4 years in a row by NH Magazine. Dr. Shane then relocated to Boston, where he has practiced for the past 3 years.
Dr. Shane focuses on beautiful esthetics and attention to detail to achieve the best results possible. His empathetic and caring nature are his strongest attributes, and his patients will tell you that they are put at ease from the moment they are seated in his chair. His approach to dentistry is to provide comprehensive dental care using the most advanced techniques available.
Dr. Shane has received advanced training in Invisalign and Implant dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Association as well as the American Academy of Clear Aligners.
