TMJ Disorders are problems that affect your temporomandibular joint, the joint that allows you to open and close your mouth.  Some symptoms are soreness around the teeth and jaw, headaches, & pain when opening the jaw or biting certain foods.  Treatment can range from conservative such as using a mouth guard at night, to surgical procedures like steroid injection, Botox injection into surrounding muscles, or jaw surgery.
